I am Dr Brendon Dellar, a Clinical Psychologist
& Adjunct Associate Professor

With over 20 years of working as a lecturer (and Adjunct Associate Professor) I have a passion for teaching and learning. I am available for workshops, and clinical supervision (AHPRA Board Approved Supervisor). I am an experience Perth based Clinical Psychologist with a special interest in Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PtSD) and Addictions (both substance and process addictions), and regularly conduct psychological assessments for Criminal Injuries Compensation through Victims of Crime.

I am dedicated to providing psychotherapy tailored to the individual, family, or communities needs. I am partner and Director (with Rachael Williams) of Cygnet Clinic in Perth Western Australia.

I have a special interest in training other mental health professionals in developing psychotherapeutic skills in a range of areas. I have also had extensive experience in assisting both private-practice startups and established organisations develop their service and improve the mental wellbeing of the clients they serve.

Through both clinical work and evidenced based training seminars.

and compassionate psychotherapies.

CLINICAL SUPERVISOR

I am a Board Approved Supervisor (BAS) for Clinical Registrarships and MPsych/PhD students on clinical placement.
I also supervise registrars in the field.

TRAINING & RESEARCH

I have experience in lecturing and running training workshops for 20 years in tertiary settings & industry including NGOs. I have provided linkages between industry and universities.

APPLIED RESEARCH

I have assisted a number of practices and businesses since 2012. I founded Cygnet Clinic as a paperless practice a decade ago. See our website for more information.

ABOUT ME

I am a Clinical Psychologist, Lecturer and have presented in the media on issues relating to mental health.

I have experience in providing Clinical Psychology services in private practice at Cygnet Clinic for well over a decade. I am passionate about working with people who have experienced trauma and those with depression and alcohol/substance abuse. I have also had significant experience with Criminal Injuries Compensation Psychological Evaluations for Victims of Crime.

After completing my university training, I have developed and maintained a wide range of skills pertaining to clinical practice and tools for efficiently measuring outcomes.
